Synopsis

Anna drowns her childhood abuse in alcohol. During her lonely strolls on Berlin's streets, she finds comfort in Goethe's literature. In Lucy she meets a like-minded soul and a possible new friend. Scared by the offered intimacy, she flees back into her own world of excess, loneliness and poetry. When she bumps into her first love Daniel who got abused with her, a fresh confrontation with her childhood trauma is imminent. Daniel is trying to take care of her and old feelings are raising back to the surface. An emotional roller coaster makes Anna realize that she has to take the responsibility for her life into her own hands.
